Design is all about scale, mass, context, and use. Whether one is creating the next soaring urban tower or connecting something new with the ancient, the same core values and methodology apply. My attention to these governing forces allow me to move effortlessly between genres. While my focus of late has been with historical structures; renovations, restorations and repurposing, the ability to create the next new building technology and aesthetic is guided by the same principles.

Connecting the past and the present for the future
Bedside Tables
Constructed of solid maple and walnut, these bed side tables were fashioned to compliment a craftsman style bed. The drawer slides both directions on a walnut band while the lower “basket” is formed out of interlaced maple planks. The top has a marble tile inlay and is sized to accept a standard 12” x 12” floor tile. As tastes or desires change, one can simple lift out the current tile and replace it with anything else desired.
