Caroline’s Cottages
Built with my daughter Caroline when she was 3, this playhouse was constructed from mostly reclaimed or surplus materials. Measuring 6’ x 6’ at the base, this cottage has a play kitchen and banquet bench seating with table and a loft area over the front porch. Flower boxes are cutoffs from a plastic K-gutter system and shutters and cupola were fashioned from discarded interior wood shutters. The siding is German ship lapped siding salvaged from a demolition.
