Design is all about scale, mass, context, and use. Whether one is creating the next soaring urban tower or connecting something new with the ancient, the same core values and methodology apply. My attention to these governing forces allow me to move effortlessly between genres. While my focus of late has been with historical structures; renovations, restorations and repurposing, the ability to create the next new building technology and aesthetic is guided by the same principles.

This garden feature is a great example of digital modeling for client review and understanding. The ability to move around this design in space enables one to fully understand all of the materials, their relationship with one another and the various massings. Connections and intersections can be easily studied and tested, ensuring accuracy in the the next level of construction documentation and avoiding any possible conflicts.
