Design is all about scale, mass, context, and use. Whether one is creating the next soaring urban tower or connecting something new with the ancient, the same core values and methodology apply. My attention to these governing forces allow me to move effortlessly between genres. While my focus of late has been with historical structures; renovations, restorations and repurposing, the ability to create the next new building technology and aesthetic is guided by the same principles.

VIPA (Virgin Island Port Authority)

This schematic model was provided to The Virgin Island Port Authority for a space planning and feasibility study. Essentially a trucking depot for the airport, this simple design was prepared based on a modest budget and the available labor and materials for the region.
