This client wanted a detached garage / shop / studio space for their turn of the century farmhouse property. This 2-car garage features a separate entry for a 2nd level studio and partitionable space adjacent to the garage for shop and/or storage. Great care was taken to detail the front facade in materials and scale which complimented the period. The addition of the brick herringbone apron formalized the entrances and provided a suitable barrier for the stone driveway. Board & batten siding, cedar shake shingles, copper standing seam shed roof and mahogany garage, entry & service doors complete the design.
