Design is all about scale, mass, context, and use. Whether one is creating the next soaring urban tower or connecting something new with the ancient, the same core values and methodology apply. My attention to these governing forces allow me to move effortlessly between genres. While my focus of late has been with historical structures; renovations, restorations and repurposing, the ability to create the next new building technology and aesthetic is guided by the same principles.

Connecting the past and the present for the future
Pool House
Newtown Square, PA
Rebuilt on the original foundation, this pool house was constructed on the same footprint, but with a steeper pitched roof to compliment the main house. The main space has a cathedral ceiling with exposed roof trusses. The floor is a polished and stained concrete for a pool friendly, serviceable finish.
