Design is all about scale, mass, context, and use. Whether one is creating the next soaring urban tower or connecting something new with the ancient, the same core values and methodology apply. My attention to these governing forces allow me to move effortlessly between genres. While my focus of late has been with historical structures; renovations, restorations and repurposing, the ability to create the next new building technology and aesthetic is guided by the same principles.

This client was renovating a storefront alongside a tenant fit out. We were able to offer window, tile & brick details, roof and awning options quickly for their review and approval. The ability to project real time sun angles tests shading and light penetrations for study and discussion.
