Theater Set Design was not something that I had studied nor pursued but have always been fascinated with the process; creating a flexible, reusable, removable fantasy world. With a daughter involved in this artistic pursuit, I was happy to help out with a volunteer parent and student group for the spring musicals at her high school. Six years and 7 shows later, these are the latest products of our efforts.
Recently, I had the opportunity to design and build a set for a local producer / director with shows being performed in Maine and Philadelphia. “Burt & Me” was a smaller scale project, but one with greater exposure to a wider audience.
Theater / set design and construction has proved to be a very satisfying outlet and great fun over the years. Consequently, we are offering and have been hired to provide these services.
